my ideal service is one that the Holy Ghost has come down in a glory cloud and joined us in worship. the densness of God is all around and There is exorted praises dancing and people getting the Holy Ghost all around, and Tongues and Interpretations have gone forth. The best services are the Ones where The Holy Ghost takes over and just has his way with the service. and the preacher cannot even preach because God already did what he wanted to do in the service. which is almost everyone of our services...But Man I Love Hot fired up Preaching... which is most common for every sunday night. I Love Jesus and Thank Him for all he has done for me and my family

My ideal church service would be to serve in the mass and attend to the needs of the preciding priest. I always like this but i have never given an opportunity still. Hope someday I can do that

My ideal church sevice is not for me, but what I can offer to worship my Lord. I love to sing and praise Him. Communion is very holy, and done with much repenting. And the pastor must be on target exactly from the bible, humble, and loving.

My ideal service is one that has a lot of praise and worship music that I can close out the world and think about what the words are really about. Once I'm really into it, then go straight into a sermon that makes you think. (without any announcements or other distractions)

I would like an hour long service, lots of songs, communion, offerings, and a sermon that got the message across. Now-a-days it seems like they don't take enough time trying to get the good news spread.

My perfect service would have worship songs that get you on fire, like "Trading My Sorrows" "God Of Wonders" "Draw Me" and others. The message would be to the point and strong, it would strike at heart strings and bring me to tears for my love of God. Prayer would be meaningful and people would lay hands and fall on their knees in prayer.

I would like a casual setting, with as you said, an offering, a few songs and a 30 minute straight to the point sermon. I haven't been to a church in quite a few years, I would like to get involved with one, but I can't seem to find one that I feel comfortable in.

The one you described is exactly like the church I attend, but I think the ideal service is like the 30 minute program Jack Van Impe gives. It is only 30 minutes and he brings todays headlines into the preaching. He correlates what is happening today with what the Bible speaks of. I can stand communion, 1 song at the beginning, 30 minutes of a GOOD sermon and 1 song at the end!

My ideal church service would not consist of a preacher at all but a group of people who read and discuss the bible. No one person interpretting it. Oh yeah and get rid of all the people that just go to talk about what so and so is wearing. I hate that it really turns people off of the Church.
