Do you go once a year, less than that or more frequently than that? How often do they recommend it? I haven't had one in a long time.

My Doctor likes to schedule patients for a complete physical every 18 months, and because of my poor vision, I see my eye doctor every year.

I do go to the doctor at least once a year. I get my annual physical and then if I am sick I go - I usually get a sinus infection once / year and go to get medication. Right now I'm pregnant so I'm having to go every 4 weeks. I have never gone to the doctor so much in my life.

Honestly, I am so sick of doctors, I refuse to go unless it is unavoidable.
It is recommended to go at least once a year. But I just can't do it.

I've always avoided the doctor, which I know is bad, but I do. I think the last time I ever been to any kind of doctor was when I was like 5 when I almost bite my tongue in half. We don't have insurance and even if we had it, I don't know then we'd use it even then.

I go to see the doctor when I have a problem. I know I should go at least once a year, but I really hate going to see them. Just the fear of them finding something wrong with me scares me lol. I know if caught early (in some cases) that would be a good thing, but what if they tell me about something that has no cure. I am not sure how I would handle that, so I avoid them. I am usually in good health so I may see a doctor once every couple of years.

I am really bad about going to the doctor. I really don't like them and I have had some bad experiences with them, so I jsut don't go unless I am dying. I know this isn't the attitude to have but right now I have no insurance and no money to find another doctor.

If I had the money I'd go regurally to a doctor, at least once a year if not more often. However without money and/or insurance it means I go only when don't have any other choice. I have to be very sick to go because that's just major money out of pocket. You have the doctors bill, the medication, let alone any tests they might want to run. It can be very expensive. So I put it off as longa s possible.

Once a year at least. This is what my health professionals are recommending. I think its nice to have a once a year check up to see whats going on with your system. I believe that we should care for our health more ´than anything else. Going to the doctor will save us from further problems that may arise due to lack of knowledge or just because of plain ignorance.

Thank you for sharing your wisdom and knowledge and sounds like you have good health professionals. It is definitely good to have our systems checked so if there are any problems, it can be taken care of right away. We should care for our health more and could possibly have a longer life if we had check ups more. I will have to schedule a physical very soon.
