They say, it is easier to pass to the hole of a needle than to a rich man to enter the heaven. Do you agree?

It all depends on what kind of practices they do to make their money and the type of person they are. I seen this guy on Imus this morning that I think will have no problem gettign to heaven eventhough he is a millionare. This guy ( I do not remember his name) earned millions in the stock market and damn near killed himself with his business practices but his life was ruthless and his business his life. Then he had an ephipiny and now he has relaxed his style and all of his current earnings goes to charity. It is not MONEY that is the root of all evil it is the LUST OF MONEY!!!

Yes, you're right. But on the either side, didn't money is the root of lust? Cause if you have lots of money, you have the capacity to do all things even the impossible one. Didn't it?

But still money is the root, not the lust. Because lust is getting stronger when there's lots of money. But anywayss.. even there's no money, lust can grow itself. Like snatching, robberies, and any easy money-making crime. It just cycles to itself. Great conversation huh, your good response make clear of the topic. But still, hope to hear someone views their side regarding on the post. Thanks!..

yes i think this would be harder for the richer one,b'coz each n every moment he has to fight his desires n distractions to keep himself onto a right path. as he has the means of even fulfilling his sinful desires without getting caught n punished within this very world n that makes him more eligible to get punished in heaven

Abosolutely, cause when you are rich, by means of money, you can make the wrongs to be right in the eyes of the people, but not in the eyes of God, cause no bad things that can be hide from Him. Unlike the poor, they have no ability to defend themselves, even when they are innocent.

Why would this be? Usually the rich are the people who have worked hard in life to get where they are. Why would a hard worker be denied entrance to heaven? (note: I don't believe in heaven due to me not being Christian, but I'll stick with the origonal post). I could see this pertaining to a greedy person, or a lazy person, and so on, but why the rich? This topic makes no sense.

I respect your views and it's alright. There's no wrong opinion, you know. Just want to hear someone's belief. No need to be angry, ok? (,")

No!! A lot of rich people do good things with their money & some rich people don't but that doesn't mean that they aren't going to heaven. If they are sorry for the things they have done with their life, like everyone else--- God will forgive. Everyone has the same opportunity to get into heaven.
