Tickle me Elmo is still popular today!!!! just as popular as the PS3 this year.. You cant even find one around anymore they are hard to come by they are sooo popular! My mother in law wanted to get one for my niece and she called all over and no luck
Being she is a nurse and has calls all the time into the office and she has to call out, well she happed to have to call Toys R Us one day for a compensation thing? I dont know she said something like that ,,, Nurse language is hard to understand sometimes lol anyways! while on the phone she said '' by chace you wouldn happen to have a tickle me elmo hiding around would you and the gentleman said is this for you?? well duh yea!!! and he said hed have it at the counter for her when she arrived in an hour! as she arrived she thought smart and because people were at the customer service desk she didnt want a mad crowd so she says im mrs. alderman here to pick up my package!
thank god they wernt stupid and said ok we have it here one moment,she saw them bringing the back to her, they had tripled bagged it so you couldnt see it in the bag and before they handed it to her they had a big Guy walk up next to her and say ok Im ready,, hahaha I guess they are so worried they had a officer there to walk her out to her car make sure she got in her car and make sure she walked away saftley because people have died over a 30.00 toy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! can you F&&& believe this??? This is why if I see something great coming out , its better and worth my time to wait till the holidays settle and get it afterwards its not worth my life,
My mother said this is the last time she buys a tickle me elmo hahahaha.

hee hee i was just goofing around.my friend had this Ferbie toy once that used to say stuff.one night we were smoking and bored and decided to pierce its ears and gel up a mohawk and give him a 3rd eye and make him look really retarded.
Ive attached a pic,the Ferbie's on the right.used to be as cute as elmo until we @#$%ed with him.btw the fella on the left, no idea who that is,dude simply came in for a photo op.son of a cat.

Elmo prices are going down now. Ebay had Elmo's going for $200ish at one point. Now they are barely hitting retail.

Oh my all that for a silly toy. THat is ok because my father in law did the same thing. He is a truck driver, he travels all over the place. While on a trip he decided that is what he wanted to get my daughter... needless to say he expereinced the worse end of it. But he walked away with the toy. I am telling what people will do for things... My husband also stood in line for over 12 hours for a PS3... he ended up with one. He decided that he did not want it after all that and now he is selling it on Ebay... who would have known. Men they are so silly. But I am glad she got away without any scratches.

My problem with all these new toys is that people are willing to hurt each other just to get them! Come on! Why do you need a PS3 now, because your kids want it? Tell them Santa thought you werent that good this year and buy it next year when its considerably less money and acutally in stock. They are selling on eBay for $2000! The only reason a hipe exists is people create it.
Elmo is just as bad, although he's not drawintg nearly as much money. I just don't get why we care more for hard-to-find toys than our troops in Iraq or homeless people on the street.

It seems like this always happens whenever an Elmo doll is released. I do not think you can compare this to the Playstation 3 release, there was not that much blood shed over that item compared to the unneeded rudeness Elmo brings out in parents.
