When my kids were younger they were always sick when school started.I took them to the doctors office and the doctor asked if i was bleaching or sanitizing their rooms when they are ill.I said yes once or twice a day.He told me i should stop being too clean and let them have some bad germs around what do you think?

Children who are overprotected usually tend to fall more sick than the rough and touch ones. When a child is allowed to eat outside food, romp around and in general be a kid, the child develops immunity. The body provides antibodies for the germs which enter the body and the child is protected then, and in future. So it is always best to let children be children.

Well, with bad germs it gives kids a chance to build up an immunity, so I can understand what the doctor is saying. If you clean too much, it's like putting your child in a bubble, and when they leave the house or go to school, they are more prone for infection because they don't have that immunity.

I agree with your doctor. Secondary, chlorine is toxic, so is not good for your health.
