Has anyone suffered from acute bronchitis?

I just got over a case of it and it was horrid. I had to go on an albuterol inhaler and antibiotics for a week, but it made a difference almost immediately. Growing up I was prone to these bronchial attacks, but sicne my parents didn't have health insurace for a great part of my childhood I would end up developing chronic bronchitis and have a debilitating cough that would often last for months. This time around I only missed three nights of sleep due to violent coughing. Since I have a toddler to take care of I knew I would have to do something about it ASAP even though I was hesitant to take any meds because I am pregnant.....but I trust my doctor, thank God!
