Do cucumbers really get rid of puffy eyes?

I don't think they do. They have a cooling affect but it goes away in seconds.

yeah i dont think they get rid of puffy eyes. they just soothe it because of the high water content of the said fruit (or is it a vegetable?).

I heard somewhere that the water had factored into getting rid of the puffiness.

That's what has been recommended to people. But I think a cold almost frozen spoon would do the same thing.
