for better data speed and installation of new application, data cable is better than bluetooth/infrared. Here are some pros and cons for the BlueTooth, IR, and cable BlueTooth: Pros: Fast, stable (once you got it working), 10m range, support for all phone services (most features of the three) Cons: More difficult to set up then IR, more expensive then IR IR: Pros: Easy to set up, faster then cable, cheaper then bluetooth Cons: Slower then bluetooth, devices have to be near and lined up, doesn't support all the phone features Cable: Pros: Cheapest of the three. Most stable. Cons: Only supports synchronization and sending files to the phone. Does not support receiving files from the phone. Very slow

the nest way in whihc a pc can be connected to a mobile and to send data is through a memory card reader. it is the fastest way to send data to a memory card and then to a mobile.
