Would you ever lie to your children?

I try not to but sometimes you can't get around it.

When my kids were young I had them convinced I could change the traffic lights from red to green by pulling on the handbrake. It was all a matter of timing of course and of watching for the faint amber glow in the other light assemblies indicating they were in the process of changing. I'd see this happening and say "Well I'd better change the light now" and yank on the handbrake and presto they'd change. If you want to have some on road fun with your kids try it , they'll be flummoxed
