I will have a baby. I'm so exciting! This week is 6th month of my wife's pregnancy. I know from my friend that there is a postnatal depression of mother can experience after childbirth called "baby blues". Do u know what it is? what is the cause?

I think that "baby blues syndrome" is also referred to as "post partum depression", is that right?? Well unfortunatly because a woman's hormones are going crazy after giving birth, there is a chance she could suffer this (many women do). All you can do is be there for her, love her, and help her out as much as possible.

I have. My sis-in-law's sister got it. She was so depressed and was crying for nothing most of the time. Now she's 100% cured. She had to see a shrink and she was responding positively to his advise. Its not very common anyway. So dont worry that your wife'd get that. Dont even tell her that there is a thing like this. It happens as far as I know, is when the husband is not taking proper care of the wife or all are thinking and caring about the baby. Or, the wife is having problems thinking she'll lose the baby due to some reason or the other. This is why in my country, we never let the mother to be, watch bad movies, bad photoes, listen to sad stories where children die etc. Take care of your wife and show her how much you love her. You'll be ok. Good Luck.

Yes..i know...it is caused to the increase of nitrogen content in the drinking water...if the nitrogen content exceeds 500ppm (measurement-ppm), it will leads to cause "Blue baby Disease"..also know as "Baby blues Syndrome"..ok..clear doubt..dear!!!
