IS IT OK TO HAVE MORE THAT ONE WIFE???

i read newspaper today, and there is this guy who have 6 wives..geez, i don't know men, i kinda disagree with that friend, he said that his wives agree and say it's ok, buy i know they were disagree because of their relligion allow husband to have more that one wife, they can't say anyhting....i think religion is religion, but human is still human...i wonder if the husband agree if his wife decide to have more husband??, what do you think friends?

In old times in China, men can have more than one wife, man are kings of the family and they were always right. But today, it is illegal to have more than one wife in China. As a woman, I can not share a man with someone else, there's just no way to be in that.

yup, as a man i agree with you, but in my country, certain religion allow man to have more than one wife, they said because of religion or something like that...??? i kinda disagree with that, i just wondering how do they feel if their wives have more than one husband...

I think it's good you made a distinction between people wanting and choosing to be in a poly marriage versus women who feel they have to because their religion calls for it. There are plenty of successful poly marriages that are equal and balanced meaning that both people abide by the arrangement they set out and enjoy the benefit of multiple partners. It is problematic however when the religion only allows the man to take multiple wives and the women just have to deal.
