I was thinking happiness can b derived only when some big goals are achieved. But people were telling even small things in life give happiness and thereby we can enjoy every moment in life.So people, what are the small things in life that make you happy?Letz share our views and enjoy those moments the next time when we come across them. I feel happy wen i meet my old friend after a very long time, wen i get to hear my favourite sonmg when having my coffee in d restaurant, when someone calls me by my first name(tatz ANAND) etc...

It is the small things in life that makes us the happiest. Some things that make me happy: when my granddaughter Alex enjoys helping me cook; when my grandson colors a picture especially for me; when the newest grandbaby laughs at me for the first time; when my little dog crawls under the covers with me; when something I have done brings joy to somebody else.

Happiness can be derived from the smallest things, a smile, a happy memory, a photo. I was actually reliving a happy moment whilst reading your post. When you said about certain songs. I remembered when my husband and I first met. White wedding was the latest song out and we used it for our own wedding song. 23 years later it still feels like yesterday. If you look in the trees you may see a bird getting drunk on the nectar and falling out of the tree as it is drunk. Spring time always makes me happy things are so lighthearted then. I hope some of these things make you happy too.

happiness?what is this? only a state of mind. many a times u r happy without any reason and sometimes u feel sad atleast this is what i think. till date this state of mind could only be generated by my friends, good friends.if u have them u'r lucky and will be happy if not then u cannot be .it's that simple.

I believe that happiness can be found when you rely on yourself, trust your own instincts, and are content with being your own, independent person. If you have this as a foundation, everything else seems to fall into place quite nicely. I know our society pressures all of us to be in a relationship or married or to have that special someone in your life, but you can't "put all your eggs in someone else's baxket", so to speak. You only have control over yourself and your life, so make yourself happy , first and foremost!

Good comment; too many people get married, thinking it will make them happy. If you aren't happy before you're married, you won't be happy in marriage, either.

They could have been follow inside the store where the thieves check to see who brought what and maybe telephone out to thier accomplist to ready a box like those of best buy used and put things into it. The couple could have place the package near someplace and who ever made the switch was quick enough for anyone to notice it. It could have happen anywhere at best buy, bus station, parking lot or any place.

Happiness is derived from the heart. If you are satisfied with what you have you are happy if not you are not happy. Satisfaction is tell by the heart to the mind and the mind dictates it if you can be happy with this and that. :D

Anand, happiness is basically a state of mind, i.e. how you respond to the mundane things of life. all that you have written used to make me very happy once. but recently i've noticed that i'm no longer happy, but neither i'm unhappy. i've just reached a static phase of my life where i've stopped responding to many things. i have a perfectly normal, trouble-free marriage of 10yrs, a 7yr kid, an 8yr old job. the money is there, the house is there, we go on yearly vacations. what more could one want. yet i'm neither happy nor unhappy. why??? sudipta

If you want to find happiness in small things then try the flowing tips. You will definitely find happiness. 1) The only way to get the best of arguments is to avoid it. 2) Show respect for the other person’s opinions, never say you are wrong. 3) If you are wrong admit it quickly and emphatically. 4) Begin in a friendly way. 5) Let the other person do a great deal of the talking. 6) Try honestly to see things from the other person’s point of view. 7) Be sympathetic with the other person’s ideas and desires. 8) Throw a challenge. Also, while your life is centered round yourself, you will always have a considerable number of fears and worries concerning yourself. Once, however, you make it your aim to make others the centre of your life, fear and worry, to a large extent, will disappear.

Well, I think it is true that its possible to happy in anything u do or even in doing nothing... To me happiness is peace of mind or when I quiet and feel one with the nature .. with no strings attached.

Happiness Could not be derived from a specific source. It comes from with in. If you are feeling good or is excited by something you feel happy. happiness is more psychological

I believe that when you help others you really feel happy in yourself. You can also meditate and pray God for real happiness.which cannot be bought by money.

Good question. We can try to find happiness in the fact that we can walk, see, taste, feel, you get the idea. But we all forget the little things in life and end up focusing on the big things that we don't have. Then that makes us depressed. I know this is something I need to practice too.

Happiness include feelings of wellbeing, delight, health, safety, contentment, and love, while contrasting ones include suffering, sadness, grief, anxiety, and pain. The happiest people surround themselves with family and friends, don't care about keeping up with the Joneses next door, lose themselves in daily activities and, most important, forgive easily! What makes me happy is: listening to my music, taking a good photograph, those moments in life where you are super self-conscious, and where you find the centre of your being and know that you have the strenth to carry on in life!

Happiness can come from centering yourself on things that value most to you. We always think of happiness as a state and not as a journey. But the fact is it is not derived from just a single event. Real happiness is a lifelong journey towards actualizing your mission in this world.

everyone has his own way to be happy and therefore has his own way to get happyness. you feel happyness everytime you find something that your life better. for a mom, it may be the smile of her child. for someone often absent from home beacuse of his work, spending a whole day with his wife and children. things make you happy when they make you remember of other happy moments you have lived in the past. many people love a particular song, becuase they gave their first kiss hearing that song. in the end, happyness is everywhere you want it to be; if you want to be happy you will always be. if you prefer to be sad, you will always be sad.
