Counting Sheep - counting sheep talking in your sleep
I too find it humorous, my husband does this once in awhile, sometimes he actually speaks a foreign language. I wonder what causes this to happen, stress of the day, lack of sleep?

i've no idea, too. must be just an extension of the conscious thoughts?

lol! and were you able to remember what you dreamed about? we sometimes don't, don't we? what we remember is the last feeling or emotion we felt, remember?

im not talking when im sleep but my 4 year old neice talks when she's asleep. She is very active child. It seems like her whole day of playing continued in her dreams, thats why she talks.

that coulde be, too. after all, our unconscious thoughts are just extensions to our conscious mind.

My husband tells me I talk in my sleep sometimes and he will respond to my talking and I talk back. One time he told me I was talking in French and I don't know French. Kinda funny huh?

I don't, but my huband does something horrible. And you can carry on conversations with him too. His don't make sence, they skip around. Mydaughter sleep walks. Maybe it is hereditary?

i've heard it is hereditary. i know my 2 boys got it from their father, and he, from his mother. so i'm pretty sure it's passed on to the next generations.

My boyfriend says that I talk in my sleep. Not actual words, but these squeaks and noises that he says are really cute lol. I know for a fact that I fling my arms when I sleep. I slammed my hand into his desk once, really hard. I opened my eyes, rolled over, and went right back to sleep.

Yes there are few people who talks while sleeping. Only a doctor can explain regarding this.

as long as it does not pose a threat to my son, it's okay if he talks once in a while. i think there's no need for the doctor at this point. but, thaks for your views!
