When you were pregnant did random people touch your belly? Did people you didn't know touch your belly or make comments about your pregnancy? How did it make you feel? What did you do?

Yep. One morning me and the other pregnant girl (we were in the military at the time) went to pick up a breakfast order for our coworkers. I went to pay and the cashier walked in front of us and touched my belly and asked when I was due. Now, I don't like people I don't know invading my personal space. Some people don't mind but I don't like it.

Yes, When I was pregnant people would always come up to me, ask me when I was due, ask me if I knew what I was having, etc. People who I knew were the only ones who would touch my belly. If I saw anyone's hand coming towards my stomach that I did NOT know, I would ever so slowly move away, or act like I didn't see them coming or w/e. I don't like strange people touching me, touching my son, etc. I don't allow it.

When I was pregnant people use to touch my belly all the time. I would be standing in line at the grocery store and people I didn't know would just come up and put their hand on my stomach. In the beginning I felt a little uncomfortable but eventually I got use to it. My family I didn't mind at all, they loved to touch my belly when they would see the baby moving. When people in the store would touch my belly I didn't really do anything at all.

I did not get a lot of touchers, but I did get comments almost daily. It was either "you are so big" or "really, you don't look that big" which was funny to me. I enjoyed being pregnant so much that I never minded the comments or even the occasional pat on the belly.

I worked in the medical field for many years. They came into my store for various things like wrist splints (carpal tunnel is something that can occur from pregnancy), maternity supports, and compression stockings. If a woman has a beautiful baby belly I have to tell them. If it was someone that I had known, I would ask them if I could touch their belly. I said that they didn't have to let me if they didn't want to. Never was the answer no. When I was pregnant with twins, I really had a baby belly. People always asked me if they could touch my belly. I think that people feel a special aura when they touch an expectant mother's belly.

During my two pregnancies, I can't think of any random person that touched my belly. Only close friends, my OBGYN and of course my hubby. Maybe its because were Asians, perhaps not as open?

Yes, people touched my belly, depending on my mood, I either smiled or discouraged them.
