I am a professional accountant and I also teach students of accountancy. I have a girl friend whom I love with all my heart and have intention to marry any other girl in any way. However, when I teach, I behave very francly with all my students. What happened is that one lady student of mine may got attracted towards me and proposed me few days ago through telephone at night. She was restless at that time and anyway I told her that I would talk to her in the morning. She was not aware of my girl friend. In the morning I told her(student) everything and wanted to convince that I am not his man. She refused to listen to anything and threatened me to stop study if I did not marry her. For some days I tried to solve it softly and when I saw that she was sticking to her point I told her not to come to my house any more. She was enough insulted and left my house crying. But I am feeling somewhat uneasy about the whole incident. Was there any other way out for me? Did I do any wrong? Please tell me.

I think there was no other good way to deal a case like this..........dont just feel guilty about it...........she might be feeling bad but she should learn to accept the fact

Yes this should be the way I should think. How can I help her? What happens to my dear, loving girlfriend if I have to marry my student after staying with her for such a long time?

It sounds like you were upfront with the woman and didn't do anything that would make her believe you were interested in her. She just needs help.

Well I am ready to help but how can I do so by marrying her? What about my own love then?
