What Age Where You Live Do CHildren Start School

Where we live the children start school age 3 and a half and i think it's too young, what are your opinions

The child must be 5 before the cut off date to start school that year.

schooling begins at around 2 1/2 years in our region however children start going to playway around 1 3/4 years of age.

I think kids should go to some kind of school at age 3, definately by age 4 (pre-K) because it helps them get use to going to school and being a routine. It also helps them build social skills. I cannot imagine being a kid and not going to some kind of schooling at age 4 and then being forced into an all day routine in Kindergarten.

Elementary school here in Italy starts for 6 years-old children. Of course your child can be taken care of even before that by special institutes.

I think that is to young, we have school for 3 year olds, but it is not mandatory. If you want to send them you can. Is it mandatory there? You don't have to go to school here until you are 5.
