mother

I lost my father in 1999. He passed away from cancer. I am still not really over it, and I doubt I ever will be. The pain is gone, but the missing is still very much there. My Mom is still alive, but I dread the day when I might lose her too. I already feel like half an orphan despite the fact I'm an adult. I know this doesn't really answer your question, but I think we all cope with the loss of our parents in different ways. Take care.
