This is just a brief listing of my own heroes and heroines of the 20th century, and why they are important to me. Believe me I could add so many more to this list. Rosa Parks She forever changed a nation for the better, and her legacy lives on. Terry Fox A young man who ran one legged across Canada to raise cancer awareness. His legacy also lives on. Helen Keller She changed our thinking on the disabled, and need I really say more. Anne Frank For her bravery she will always be my hero. Dr John Mack He bravely tackled the subject of alien abduction and gave dignity to it and those who claimed this experience. He is sorely missed.
