Is english a subject in which you excel or not?

I am taking a degree in Information Technology online and I was surprised by the number and variety of English credit based classes are in the curriculum. I have at least one english class in each of my first 4 quarter evolutions. I do fairly well in these classes I got a C in the last but I am getting a A in the current English class. Had I not missed turning in one of the assignments the last week of the last COM 120 class I would have gotten a B instead, but it's all good and it was my own fault. I have also found that as most Americans read at a 6th or 7th grade level that these english classes are a great means for me to practice my delivery to a mainstream audience with that statistic in mind.
