GIFT OF MAGI............read this

It is Christmas time and season of gifts. One of the story which I have enjoyed is " The Gift Of Magi" by O Henry. Today I purchased a collection of short stories by O Henry. By the way O Henry was his pet name. Guess his real name? His stories have surprise endings.

I love that story. During this time of year, we should all remember this story. It's not about running here and there to get the "best" gift. A true gift comes from the heart not the department store. Great discussion!!

William Sydney Porter According to Nathneil Brandon, O Henry was one of Ayn Rand's favorite writers. There is one short story in 'The early Ayn Rand'(Published posthumously),which was inspired by his writing. Has a similar twisted end. 'Raincoat' starring Aishwarya Rai and Ajay Devgan is also inspired by O Henry.

I expected this from you. Did not know that he was one of Ayn Rand's favorite writers. I have seen 'Raincoat', it is slow in its pace.
