I in real need of employment and I saw that my old employer is hiring. Anyway, this company has already hired me twice before, so I'm not sure if they would even consider hiring me again. Each time I quit the job I gave them a lot of notice that I was leaving. The job will not even cover half of my living costs, but it is something. I was also thinking about just working there as a temp. until they find someone to fill there position. What do you folks thank?

Never hurts to ask and you got to do what you got to do. As long as you left on a good note, I wouldn't worry much about it. But you should try to find something else first if possible if you know you would be starting with them again only to have to quit again. If you have been looking for some time now and can't find anything yet then hey you need something.

you never know until you try. I would apply as a temp and tell them that you know the job, you love the job, and you are intersted in helping out while you try to pursue the next route in your career. This is about your bread and butter so you should try what you can to earn it.

I was once unemployed for close to a year and my unemployment actually ran out. I went to six different temp agencies and I ended up getting a fulltime job. If you are still getting unemployment I would try the temp agencies or wait for something good to come along. If you are going through your savings as I was and that job pays more then your unemployment I would try applying if there is nothing else and look for a better job while working there.

I wouldn't work at the same job no matter how much they're needing me. The only way I would take the job again is if they offer to double my pay( or at least 1/2). If they don't want to make the increase, then I'll move on.

IF IT IS JUST SOMETHING TEMP. FOR YOU AND THEM THEN I WOULD TRY TO GET IT EVEN THOUGH IT WONT PAY MUCH. ATLEAST IT WILL BE A LITTLE SOMETHING. A JOB I USED TO WORK AT RE HIRED ME 5 TIMES BECAUSE I WAS A HARD WORKER. IT SOUNDS TO ME LIKE YOU ARE TOO IF THEY HAVE ALREADY HIRED YOU MORE THAN ONCE. IT MAY NOT BE MUCH BUT I WOULD GO FOR IT UNTIL YOU FIND SOMETHING BETTER. GOOD LUCK.

You have already worked there twice. I don't think you should try again there. Instead you should try for a fresh job. I don't think it will be wise to go back to the same place time and again.

I know that it is something to make some money, but the time spent working there, could be spent looking for something better. You have already worked there 2 times and know that it is not the job for you. I would just stick it out and look for something better. Plus, alot of places are looking for Holiday help.. that makes it easier to find something right now.. usually they have tons of people quit after the first of the year and your chance of staying on is good. Good Luck.

Why do you keep letting yourself fall into this position? Why do you keep quiting your job with nothing to fall back on? That is really the question here. In my opinion you should move on to another company. It is pretty clear that this company will not work for you as you can't make good money there and you'll end up quiting again shortly. Why don't you find a position worth having, something you think will make you happy and can actually support you? If you need a quick fix try waiting tables or something like that, and during your off time you can begin looking for a more serious and long term position that you'll be happy with. I know it isn't easy, but it will be better if you can find something that you'll get some satisfaction out of doing and that can support your lifestyle.

I think it's a great idea to work as a temp as they try and find someone. That's the best thing for you and them. I mean, you wouldn't have to feel guilty about having to quit later because as you should be implying, you will be working for them as a temp. I think you should go for it!

There must have been a reason why you've quit that job two times before ... do you have a reason to think that it will be better this time? Also I used to own my own business and I don't think that I would hire you a third time. Employers need to know that they can rely on their employees and it costs them alot of money to replace people all the time. I think it's time to look some place new. Good luck!

If I was in your position I will never think of going back to the same company once I worked. Because you will never get the same respect as before. It means you have some problem in getting jon in another firm.

Well i do reckon that they might think a lot before hiring you as they do have an impression of you being so inpredictable But then what the hell there is still no harm in trying no Just try or else you got many other options dont worry everything will be fine

I say go for it. Especially if you left on good terms. If you don't mind me asking, where do you live? Have you tried to find a temp agency to find you some work? Most of the time they don't charge you anything and they'll find you a job within the $$ you want to be making! I use Paige Personnel Services www.paigepersonnel.com. I don't know if they are nationwide or anything but you might want to check them out!

I think its Up to you if you will return to your old job. U know Every one of us is deserving for what they think is right to be with. you said that it can't catch up your cost of living allowance, there at that point you can get your answer to your questions.

well...its not just the good ideea...you could find other job...there a lot of jobs that you can find you dont really need to go to your ex and ex job...think about something else. and if the money that you get there dousent cover half of your costs why dont you just find a job that will cover your costs. like this you will work and loose your time there and dont win enough money, and in this time you could work in other department and win twice as you could win here...
