"Rainbow Children"

Does anyone know what this means? I see it often...all I can think of is a new breed..but of what?

ive heard of crystal children and indigo children, they are meant to be a new breed of humans being born which are different to us and are meant to help make earth a better place to live!

I always thought it referred to children of different nationalities adopted by the same parents, i.e. Mia Farrow and Angelina Jolie are two that come to mind.
