How does MyLot actually make money?

I'm just curious as to how MyLot actually makes so much money to pay its members. I see only google adsense ads on the site and although it is a good source of revenue, google tends to clamp down on sites that are incentivised in any way. Has google approved MyLot specially? Or is there some other source of revenue?
