I heard that of Pampers and Huggies one is better for boys and one is better for girls. Have you heard this too? If so which one is supposed to be better for which??/

I havent heard that before. But sometimes, if you looks at store brand diapers, it said on the package "for boys and girls". I didnt noticed it on pampers and huggies package.

I love the pampers with caterpillar flex? green and blue on the pkg not the swaddlers ..work so well for my little girl but I recieved some of almost every kind at my shower and all work okay..the biggest problem is they are not all the same size..white cloud seems to run a little smaller and so does parent choice if you try those

Not sure. For my son we were pretty broke all of the time and had to use the generic diapers. When we had the extra cash for better diapers or had a coupon, I always bought the pampers. The seemed to not leak as often. I think that Huggies still had a plastic covering on them and I didn't like that.

I have never heard of that but does make sense to a point..I've never had any luck with pampers brand with my boys..they tend to leak easier than huggies

I MYSELF HAVEN'T HEARD THAT. I HAVE A 16 MONTH OLD LITTLE BOY AND WE'VE TRIED EVERY DIAPER OUT THERE. WE'RE USING PAMPERS RIGHT NOW BUT MY GIRLFRIEND SWEARS BY HUGGIES FOR HER LITTLE BOY. I ALSO HAVE GIRLFRIENDS WITH LITTLE GIRLS THAT USE PAMPERS AND ONE USES HUGGIES. I LIKE IT'S JUST WHAT WORKS FOR YOU.

Well I have a girl so I don't have to worry about pointing a willy a certain way. :)

I really think its just a marketing ploy and that it doesnt matter. Its child body is shaped different so different diapers fit better on some babies than others.

I was thinking because boys are pointed down or up or whatever and it makes them pee in different spots in the diaper.

I don't know one person who likes Huggies. I, and everyone I know use Pampers. I love Pampers. My favorite kind is the Pampers Baby Dry.

I have heard Pampers for girls and Huggies for boys. I have a girl and Huggies leaked all over the place for her. Pampers worked fine for her, but I choose to use Target brand.

Huggies work better than Pampers I think. At least they do for my daughter.

I'm not quite sure, but I do know that I don't care for Pampers too much. I've tried several different types of Pampers (Swaddlers, Cruisers, etc.) during the first year of my son's life, and they seemed to leak a lot. I then switched to Luvs, which I thought was better than Pampers, but they leaked a lot overnight. So I decided to try Huggies, which worked better than any of them. One month we were running a little low on money, though, so I decided to get some White Cloud diapers temporarily. I found that, even though these are generic, they work just about the same as Huggies! For a few dollars cheaper. Of course, it may also depend on the baby; some diapers just work better for others depending on the individual.
