Thoughts on child ADHD

Do you think some Doctors are too quick to diagnose this?

Definetly, if children with "ADHD" can sit around playing Video Games all-day or watching TV, that obviously means they don't have a problem paying attention. They seem to just be using it as an excuse, although there's no-doubt, there are many people who do have this problem.

Yes, I agree many use this as an "excuse". And I also believe that there are many people out there that actually do have this problem.

i do belive that it is a widely spread disease that anyone can get but yes I do belive that doctors use it too often - just coz they can´t be bothered to find the real problem!

I think this is so hard to diagnois becuase the child could just be active and bored.I do not know what guidelines they follow but the doctors love to give meds to the childern for this.Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder.

Yes, I agree it is hard to diagnose. It takes lots of time and evaluation, and I believe some doctors don't take the time to diagnose it correctly. They are so quick to write a prescription.
