Okay this all just really snuck up on me...I mean really wasn't I just 15 a little while ago and now I'm twenty-five, I'm married, and a mother. How does that transition go by so quickly without you realizing it?? I feel like I was in college just yesterday, sitting at the beach, having drinks with my friends. Not complaining about it, just in awe of how quickly it goes. Just goes to show you to appreciate every second...life is to short you know? Anyone else feel like it's gone to quick? Is it possible to have a mid-life crisis at twenty-five?? hehe

LOL you are right! especially when you are in your 20s...you dont know when you are a teenagers or adult, you tend to be stuck in that category. i'm a matured adult in work or when i'm outside...my in my family, i'm still considered as they teenagers..LOL

hmmm, I'm thinking that is how my daughter feels, who had her daughter at age 16, and is now 25. At least she had/has me to help her, and she still gets to 'go out' alot, usually every friday or saturday evening! She's been working since age 16 too, part time when she was still in school. But yes, at family gatherings she's still sort of "one of the kids" even though there's the new generation after her! I told them at Thanksgiving, I'd nowadays happily sit at the (little) kids table!

The family will always see you as a younger one, even when we are old and grey! Thanks for the response!

yah i know how you feel. i feel like i was in middle school or high school just yesterday, but im already 22 years old...and getting older by the day. its a weird feeling knowing that im an adult. right now im studying for my masters degree but ill be working by next year...and maybe starting a family in the next few years. im not sure i like the idea of getting older. it seems like ive been a teenager forever, and im not ready for that to change.

At 25, I had a mid-life crisis. I went from being my parents child to them living with me and me becoming the parent. It was aweful! I couldn't figure out where my early 20's went and was so stuck in the middle of this new life that was uncharted territory that I was angry and frustrated until I was about 29. The time does fly by quickly and I still some days can't believe that I've been out of high school over 25 yrs already. Seems like I blinked and boom it was gone.

Yeah, it is a little weird, but when all that happens it just seems natural like it has always been your life. During that time you'll look back to now and think that it is weird. Crazy how that works! Thanks for the response!

I didn't really have that problem. When I was a teenager, I couldn't wait to be an adult and was more than ready for it when it happened.

Hi! Oh, honey, I woke up at 43 feeling like that! haha It feels like just yesterday when I was in high school, then college, and living on my own and running my career. Now I'm married and have a 4 year old daughter. I'm really glad you realize at your young age how fast life goes. I think you will appreciate it more and get more out of it. Enjoy, sweetie, you have so much ahead of you! As they say, "Live, love, laugh." Best to you!

I am in the same boat . I'm 27 married and have 2 wonderful kids but I still wonder where all that time went. You will really wonder where it went when you get a notice that your graduating class is having there 10 year reunion. It just happened to me. I think it is very possible to have a mid life crisis at our age.

Yes, I feel the same way! This year has especially went by so quick. Yes, you really appreciate every second thats true. Isn't it so funny sometimes the day seems so long but other days speed by. Its not that one day is longer because they are all twenty four hours. Christmas is almost here and I remember last christmas like it was yesterday. My birthday is even coming up again on Janurary first. Everyday is not promised to you so you should appreciate what you have becuase you never know when you won't get another day to live. I used to be in a rush to get older but now I don't want to get any older. I wish I was a little kid again. So live your life the best you can because it will sneak up on you it does for everyone really. Atleast everybody I know! lol

This is so true. I remember being little, all I wanted was to get older. Now that I'm older, i want to be younger. It seems we always want the opposite of what we have. I have learned to appreciate what I have though. Thanks for the response!

I feel the same way. I look at things and think, dang, has it really been that long? Especially when you have kids, they are babies one minute, the next they are starting school. Time seems to go by so fast. Cherish every moment with your family:)

It is just because you are at happiest period of your life. When our days pass without any trouble/pain, we do not count. Only when we are in trouble/problems, we start counting "I am in trouble for so many days/months/years and so on" "when these all will end up" God may bless you happiness for ever. Trouble never comes to your/family life...... I wish!!! bye....be happy and keep happy your all friends.

The older you get, the faster the time flys. It stinks and you're right, "....if you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.... What movie is that from? Anyone......? Anyone......? That is your hint.
