Friends............HOW MANY OF US HAVE THEM??

I had a lot of "friends" in high school, but after so many situations where people showed their true colors at critical moments, I was sick of being surprised. I lost track with a lot of my friends when I graduated, I started working full time and going to school and not much else. I met a girl that I really clicked with in one of my classes at school and soon I was just going around her and her people whenever I felt like letting off some steam. After a few years, we had become real close. That's about when my current boyfriend and I had decided we wanted to be together after being friends for a few years also. I stopped hanging with my friend so much, and spent a lot more time with my man. She acted like everything was all good and pushed me in his direction every time it was a toss up between the two of them. "True LOve" she said we had. I had told her about him before we were together, I told her he was the man of my dreams. I just thought she was real happy for us.... I moved into his house 8 months ago, and about three months after that, she had called me saying she was right down the street from us, and with her friend. Their car had broke down, and she wanted to know if we could come get them and maybe my boyfriend could look at the car. (He's good with that kind of thing). I go pick them up, bring them back to the house, and then when my man is ready to go, we all go ride to the car. When we're at the house, my friend's girl gets a call and she says somebody else is gonna meet them at her car and he'll take a look at it, so my man doesn't have to. Ok, cool, I say, and don't think twice about it. We get over there, (my man is driving) and when we pull up, I tell them, see u later, and expect them to get out. My girl's friend gets out right away and walks over to her friend. For some reason, my girl is still in the backseat. I ask her, whats wrong, and she says she doesn't know if her friend's guy is gonna want to take her home, too. I look up, and of all people, its my ex-boyfriend. The person they called is my ex-boyfriend. I was pissed. My boyfriend didn't know, so I just figured, get her butt out of this car and we can pull off, I'll tell him after we're gone. Well, she's taking forever, and my man calls out to the snake, does he think its the radiator? I look up, and the guy is ignoring my boyfriend. Baby, don't talk to him, I tell him. well of course he wants to know why. I really didn't feel like getting into it right here in this parking lot, so I'm just trying to get her the hell out of the car ASAP. He keeps asking me questions, so I tell him, Its my ex over there. He's pissed because "I should have told him right away" I'm pissed, because I think my friend should have warned me. She claims she didn't know that's who was going to come pick them up. Her friend knows that's my ex-boyfriend, I'm sure, so I know she's a snake, but what about my friend? Do you think she really didn't know? Why wouldn't she have asked her friend who was coming to get them ya know? Tell me what you think!
