One that I feel has a great deal of charm and charisma is Paul Newman. He doesn't abuse his stardom. He uses it in positive ways that benefit people.

Paul Newman made a great impression on me as a young man; he was one of the screen performers who most made me want to become a film actor myself. He seemed to me to be the essence of onscreen cool and style, so poised, ay, every inch a star. I never did become a movie star; but I sure did alot of acting!

The only acting I ever did was when I was trying to pull a fast one on my mom!

I think some people actually do. There are some celebrities who have this power on screen as well as in person. However it is not something limited to celebrities. Plenty of bankers, lawyers, nurses and trash men can have it as well. Charisma is somthing most people who have it are just born with. Some people can "learn" it but that is much more difficult. I think of it as a personality trait really.

I agree with you. Charisma is by no means limited to celebrities. Simply, some people are born with stardust sprinkled on them. you wonder though if being so blessed is 100% a good thing, or also possibly potentially something of a hindrance, I mean to the development of moral character?
Not automatically of course, but you do wonder.
