What is the best fortune you have found inside the cookie?

I don't eat them often, so I cannot remember. Usually they are silly, and don't make sense. What about you?

I have not come across a funnt one. My usally say something like , you are rich with family and friends and your lucky numbers are 11,12,17,25,33.

My friend once told me of a fortune he got that read, "You will help a friend in need." As he was leaving the restaurant he saw someone trying to lift a mattress on top of their car. When they saw my friend they asked him, "Hey amigo, can you help me out?"

I have a friend that uses this idea when ever she reads her fortune cookies. Start with the fortune and end by saying in the bedroom.

This isn't something that I got in a fortune cookie, my daughter-in-law did. It said.."Tough times never last, but tough people do". Those words mean a lot to us. She has it on her kids website. There have been a lot of tough times and we somehow managed to get through it.

I got one once that was pretty funny. It said "You are now 8 dollars poorer, $6.95 if you had the buffet. Some other ones I've gotten were a hoot but I don't save them so I don't remember what they said.
