Themed parties?

Have you ever held a themed party or been to one. I went to an eighties party on the weekend for my sister in laws birthday and it was so much fun. I went dressed as Cindy Lauper and my partner went as Boony :D

Nope, never had one or been in one before. But, I've seen them on tv, they look enjoyable.

A few years ago I had a "Decade" party where everyone had to choose their favorite decade (1980's or before) and dress accordingly. I had people come dressed in '80's, 70's, 60's, and 50's styles, and then some people even dressed as Robin Hood and Maid Marian.
