Toy Sales and Posessed Rampaging Mothers?

Why is it that mothers become so violent and driven during a toy sale. I was too scared to even reach for a toy for fear that I would have a finger gnawed off. Has society changed all that much for the every man for themself days of cavemen? Does it just have a different face now?

I don't know the answer to that one. I don't act that way.

Something about toys that make them act that way, strange. Thankfully I'm not one of those mothers.

Hi! I completely understand what you're saying. I have learned to not shop during the peak times. For instance, I do shop the after Christmas toy sales at the major stores, but my main toy shopping I do at the summer toy clearances right before school starts. The bargains are just as good and no crowds to deal with! I think people in general just have more stress and more aggression lately, and the holidays just add to that. I'm sorry you are seeing so much of the bad. I hope you get a chance to see some good soon! :-)
