but how come black people are refered to as monkeys and chimps a lot?I'm confused? I mean why monkeys? there must be so reason for it why not like pigs? Because not being racist but if someone called me a pig i'll be a lot more insulted then if someone called me a monkey

Let me ask you when did you EVER see a black person eating a banana? Seriously though, I have never heard of black people being compared to other primates. It would be inappropriate.

Because of the old days of Tarzan, the jungle and all the monkeys and animals. It was assumed black people were from the jungle and since the monkeys were domesticated, they were compared to black people.
