What house would you want to be in?

If you were a young witch or wizard and just got your Hogwarts acceptance letter - which house would you hope the sorting hat would sort you in and why?Me: Gryffindor. I'm thankfully not evil enough for Sytherin. Not "smart" enough for Ravenclaw. And I think Hufflepuff is kind of boring. And I love lions!! GO GRYFFINDOR!!!
PS - If you don't like HP books/movies please don't bother posting.

I can see myself as another Ron Weasley character, so it would be Gryffindor for me too, sorry to be boring and the same as everyone else, but who could want a teacher like Snape as your house master? He's awful and nasty. I like Professor McGonegall and I wish I had a teacher like her at school! Plus I would be proud to be in the same house as Hermione!

I totally agree. Having Snape would suck. Even though McGonegall is a tough it's all good 'cause it's tough love. She still cares about her students and just wants them to do great.

I think that I would like to be in RavenClaw. Simply because they do seem to have the smartest of the witches and wizards - except for Hermione!

I would have to agree with you on the Gryffindor!
I am not horrid like the kids in Sytherin. Hufflepuff almost seems weak. Ravenclaw...although I am smart, I feel like they are snobbish.
Gryffindor would also seem like a better match for me. :)

I think I'd hope for Gryffindor as well. I don't think I'd fit well into Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw. Just not the right sort of mind set. I could possibly get by in Sytherin :) if I had to but I think most of my qualities lean towards Gryffindor. Now whether or not the hat would agree with me who knows but it's fun to speculate.

me too, i would definetely want to be in Gryffindor. I just watched Harry potter and the chamber of secrets yesterday and was wondering what I would do if I was a witch with muggle parents :D
