Our son has an mp3 player - not an Ipod - and he wants one that has a lot more memory to it since his only holds 500 songs and of course that's not enough for him. But I want to know if u get an Ipod are u limited to only having Itunes on it or can u also have other mp3 files too??? I don't want to end up buying an Ipod if all they hold is the Itunes - that makes it pretty limited I think. Thanx in advance for any help with this!!!!

ipod is not limited for itunes. iTunes is only for u to get songs online. they have started off with it so that there will be no piracy. You can transfer songs from ur comp to ipod. One more thing you can also look out for Zune from microsoft. It also seems nice n also it has wifi capability

Itunes is a program to sort and organise your music. You can have any music type on there. I would go onto the Apple website if I were you, you will be able to read all about them there. It will explain the differences between the software you use on your computer and the files you can play on your Ipod.
