Even before we are born, we spend much of our time dreaming. Each night as we sleep, our brains create strange and often confusing images and stories....Why do we only remember some of our dreams?

Your brain is trying to reorganize what you have been thinking about. I am not sure whay we only remember part of it, I guess it depends where the dream was in the brain!
