Best Operating System?

i like windows xp because you get what ever software you want for it but as for macyou dont get all the softwares as you get in windows xp so that is the main reason if mac had all of the softwares and supported the files that is in windows then i wil go for mac!!

I think the best OS is Unix, but windows is the most popular.

i use windows xp..not because its the best but because i am addicted to it microsoft products.... i heard linux is the best OS which is open source and we can edit our own OS as and wat we require... i have worked on both windows and linux...windows was much user friendly than linux and tatz why even now the microsoft products are being selled...when conserned about security linux it the best... i havnt used mac so i cant tell abt it...plz write something about mac pc's...

Unix based OS are the best all around, Cost and Security , linux is based on this.

Best for what -- security, ease of use, compatibility? Personally, I like Mac OS 9.
