Rush to Feed Solids. Give Babies a Nipple NOT a Sandwich

Why is there such a rush to feed babies solids? Is it so the mother can have more freedom? You're the one who chose to have a baby so therefore you can breast feed it until it is READY for solids. Babies can be fed milk (breast or formula)and only milk until they are one. They don't need solids. Why feed them solids when they can develop allergies from them? Give babies a nipple not a sandwich!

My son started eating solids when he was 7 months old (1 month ago). As babies are growing, they need more adaptive nutrition than formula. He does not eat sandwiches, though, so I am not sure where you are getting that from. He eats the Stage 1 Baby Foods like pears, peas, carrot, etc.
