Fear of relationships..is it real? do i have it?

Friends, i think i'm commitment phobic and have a fear of real relationships. Being a girl, i really shouldn't as i used to think this is a GUY THING but i guess i was wrong. I'm not a flirt when i love i love TRUELY. but sometimes i just can't handle TOO much love. if my guy cares too much i don't like it..when he doesn't.. i don't like it. Is everything OK with me? Please advice as i for one cannot figure myself out!

I think everything is just fine with you. We are all different in our way of love. I am a lot like you too. I am now divorced and have enjoyed my life much better. My ex-husband adored and worshiped me and I hated it. There was no challenge. Then I also don't like to be man handled. I decided I was just the type person who does not need a full-time partner. I don't mind dating, but I don't want a commitment, it takes too much effort. Maybe we are selfish or smart, not sure which. LOL

You won't be happy if you don't change this. Being in love with being in love, is not rewarding in the end. Dependence is part of a relation. So try to focuss on being dependent in a relationship and explore this feeling. Perhaps this will help.
