Is a nursing home considered a non-profit organizaation

may be, but most cases it is not, only government nursing home is considered as the non profitable organisation

yes, if the ngo has big fund to operate its services. but some of them funding by the government, social foundation, or united nation.

It depends...if it is part of a parent organization like a church that can be considered non profit on its own, then it may be considered non profit. Otherwise, probably not...

it depends on the nursing home and to whome it belongs. If a nusing home belongs to a pvt individual it wont be a non-profitable organisation. if it is working under any govt. undertakings it will be a non profitable org.....................................

There are nursing hoes which are/can be considered profitable organizations. Then there are some who are non-profitable which are run by governmental organizations. You would have to research and check to see which one of the two for the specific one you are perhaps selecting.
