I tried scrapbooking but that really wasn't my thing. I don't have a favorite. I dabble in a lot of different things. Growing up my Mom was always crafting though. My favorite thing then was when she would elaminate the wrappers from coke bottles and turn them into hair bows. Everyone at school thought they were cool. Not really a craft that would go over now though. I don't think kids want to go to school with a coke label in their hair these days. Ok, maybe it was even silly then. lol

I would love to learn how to quilt! I have a cousin who does and she has won all kinds of contests for her work. Someday I'll learn ;)

I used to crochet tablecloths, small blankets and baby blankets, which are all just big colorful crochet squares; and used to sew what I called, summer quilts, which is quilts without the stuffing for at the beach or a picnic, etc. But then I put it down to move, almost 20 years ago, and have never picked it up since! (?!)

That is really cool! I tried to crochet a while back but then I forgot how and haven't had the patience to relearn it :)

I really don't have a favorite craft. I usually do what ever. I really love crafting with My Boys though. I do flower arranging. I make and design Jewelery, I also work with polymer clay. I sew too. I just make what ever I can with the supplies I have on hand

Yeah, play with a few things and see what you like. I know alot of people are really getting into making cards, that may be a cheap way to try some paper crafts.. if you like that, try scrapbooking.
One thing I used to love to do was to paint things.. like boxes and ornaments and stuff. There are so many options out there.

I guess I would say crocheting is still my favorite craft. I love tole painting and used to cut out my own wood to paint, haven't done that in a few years now. I also make candy wrappers for party favors and gifts. I enjoy sewing, but haven't dont that in a while either. I like scrap booking, but just don't seem to have the time to keep up with it.
