Would you carry a gun?

No, I wouldn't. There are three things I'd be worried about: 1) that my kids would get a hold of it 2) that it could be grabbed from me and used against me & 3)that if you use it in self-defense, you can wind up in jail, if you use more force than is necessary to defend yourself, and I wouldn't want to be in a situation where I might kill someone by accident, even if they were attacking me. I use other means to stay safe. I live in a safe neighborhood, but I worked in a very unsafe one. I just always walked anywhere in a group, carried a cell phone, carried myself assertively, and dressed like I belonged there.
