It's definately about who you know... I have had my troubles finding a career, until my friend got me an entry level job at Quiksilver... I've been working hard for them and have been promoted twice over the last 11 months... I think everyone takes a step back when they graduate, because you rarely have good working experience (internships aside)...

Keep sticking with it! I'm sure your going to find something good... It was really hard for me to grasp to concept that I could be working for a compnay for five years... Mostly because my previous jobs in college were only for a year or year and a half...

What kind of job are you looking for? What may be hurting you (If you are still looking for a administrative assistant job) is the fact that you graduated from college. Many people won't hire you for such a position if you have any higher education because many administrative assistant are not challenging and they think you will get bored and leave. When I moved from Real Estae back into office work I had a very hard time finding a job because I have an associates degree, am in school, and have a ton of experience in sales and office work. I was eventually hired as a sales assistant and within six month was promoted to a better business position on the company.
