Does anyone watch Standoff?

Its a fairly new show about a team of hostage negotiators that work for the FBI. I think it is a great show. Its very interesting. The two main characters are also involved in a romance with each other and it causes problems every once in awhile. Here is the show's website, in case you want to check it out...

UGH! The site states that Standoff won't be back until Friday, March 30, 2007 at 8/7c. That's ridiculous to make us wait that long. Why do the networks do this to us? Why don't they designate a network just for reality shows so that the real shows can come back? I'm sorry but having a reality show take over like that is just not right. Iknow it's a ratings thing, but give me a break. If networks want loyal fans/viewers, I think that the networks need to be more loyal to us! (Sorry about that. I just read about it and it angered me. I just get upset with other shows or sports games interrupting my shows)

IT'S ALMOST OVER..........Just read in the new TV Guide, that this Friday Standoff is on, and the show is only back to show its' unaired episodes, which means that the show's been cancelled - they're not making anymore episodes. That sucks!!! Why do they get rid of the good shows and then keep the stupid ones? Why do people watch the stupid ones? I hate it when my shows get moved around/disappear/get cancelled........why do they do this?

Yes, I do watch it. I love the show too. IT used to be on at 8:00 before House, but it hasn't been on in ages. Did it get cancelled? I hate when I get into a show and then they move it around a lot and/or end up cancelling. They just did that to me with a new show. I kept watching every week to find out what happened, and now I'll never know - I hate that. Standoff has been on again, off again for so long that I couldn't even remember the name of it, 'til just earlier today.
I love the two main characters too. They've got good chemistry (in and out of bed - hehe). They work well together and play off each others strenghts and weaknesses.
Does anyone know when it will be back on, if at all?

According to their website, its supposed to return with all new episodes early in 2007. I hope it wasn't cancelled. I'll be mad. Is that other show you were talking about that was cancelled called Vanished? I was watching that one and it seemed to have vanished itself.lol.

Well that's good to know. I was geeting a little worried there. I get worried now when things like this happen to my shows, as I start to wonder if they're getting cancelled or not. There should be a law that once a storyline is started, the show can't be cancelled until the storyline is finished.
Yes, it was Vanished. I couldn't remember the name yesterday, since it wasn't on for very long. Of course that one could survive - the way they kept moving it around. I think I was more upset that they ended up cancelling it before it ended and gave us closure.

Personally, I have never heard of this show. Maybe if they decide to have this Show on again this next Season and I hear about it, I will try and watch a show or two of it to see what I think,
It sounds definately like something that they probably got the idea off of a Movie enough to decide to make it into a Series. Interesting idea enough I am sure.

Thanks for replying. And it is a really good show. Where I live it is on Tuesday nights at 8:00, right before House. I bet if you watch it once you will be hooked.

Did anyone watch last nights episode, the first of the last episodes? It was awesome!!! Do you think she'll end up taking that job in Quantico? I had a bad feeling when it was mentioned that by the end of the shows, he's going to get killed, and she'll leave and take that job in Quantico. I have no idea where this came from, but I thought I'd share with all of you other Standoff fans, and see what you think.
I've always liked this show, but it makes me sad to see such a brilliant show get canned. Why does this happen? I mean, it seems to me that all of these great shows that make you think and are done so well always get canned and the stupid ones seem to stay on the air. Am I the only one that sees this happening, or do others agree with me?

I have never heard of this show. I tend to watch CBS more than any other network. I will try to catch it. It sounds like my kind of show. What night is it on?
I love CSI, Numbers, The Unit and this sounds like something I would enjoy

Its on fox. It used to be on Tuesday nights just before House. But American idol is starting soon,so I am not sure what night it will be on. If you go to the website I posted in the begining, you can see past episodes.

I do love the show. I'm watching it every tuesday at 9 p.m. on Crime and Suspense. I love the plot and the characters.
