Depression

I always get depressed around the holidays. No matter what I do, I just can't shake it. Around Thanksgiving I start feeling edgy like I'm loosing control and by New Years I'm a lunatic. Crying, Sad, Mad and Angry at the world. I've tried everything. I always end up in a funk and in the bed with covers pulled over my head. Tell me something. What's wrong with me?

Well dear i am just like you, the only thing is i don't cry. I just stay home and go crazy. For me i miss my family for i haven't seen them in 12 years. There is nothing wrong with you it a phase that we all go through.

Thanks, it's good to know I'm not alone. Why haven't you seen your family in twelve years? Do you live far apart?

Depression is not something you can just "snap out of." It's caused by an imbalance of brain chemicals, along with other factors. Like any serious medical condition, depression needs to be treated.
