...wondering: What's it beginning to look like in your home, your town, or your area? Do you have any snow? Have you decorated inside or outside? Are you in a mess of Christmas wrapping or baking? Please share.

We just had some snow this morning, but it's melting all away now that the sun starts to shine. We just put up our christmas tree the other day and I just got my husband's present come in, I should wrap it up before he gets here.

We are suppose to be dealing with snow swalls off and on all day today. Some could produce 1-2" of snow in some areas. I am really hoping that we don't have any in our area; I hate to drive in that kind of weather. As far as decorating, I still have yet to do that. We are going to Florida for Christmas vacation to celebrate it with his family. I am still debating if I really want to put our tree or not. The boys are suppose to let me know if they want it up or not this weekend. My Christmas spirit is slow coming this year. I have all the gifts done and the cards, just not into the decorating thing yet lol.

Christmas wreath - a decorated christmas wreath
I have been so busy organizing the carols by candlelight for our local community that i have not had time to decorate my home .last weekend my grandson decorated our tree after asking his grandfather to find it. I have not bought even one present and this year my other 2 grandchildren are coming from interstate for christmas and they will be expecting the house to be decorated as usual and will be very disappointed if it's not. Once the Carols are over we have our Club Christmas party then i will be free to prepare for our Christmas but it is very scary as i have never left it this late before

I love this time of year because everyone is burning vanilla, pine, pumpkin fragrances for candles and incense. Carols are on all the radio stations and in all the stores. The grass is turning a lovely shade of brown and trees are FINALLY losing a few leaves. I need to get wrapping. Thankfully I don't have to do Christmas this year since I did turkey day.

Oh, I forgot. We put our lights up. Haven't had energy to do much else, but the lights are up outside at least.

Out here in the desert, it doesn't look too much like Christmas, except for all the lights people are putting out on their homes and cactus. I am done with wrapping my gifts and baking already. What about you? No snow in my area.

the mountains surrounding our area are now covered with snow, not our place though (it's sort of a valley). there are christmas lights and decorations in the neighborhood now. my husband and i are yet to put up our own this week (after my birthday :)) and i'm excited about the real christmas tree (lol!). we just finished writing and mailing some of the christmas cards today (a dozen, whew!), and we still got the other half to write and send tomorrow. yes, the christmas spirit is around now, and my birthday enhances the festive happy feeling being in the same season :)

Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat. Time to put a penny in the old man's hat. If you haven't got a penny, then a hey penny will do. If you haven't got a hey penny, then God Bless You. That's one my daughter has been singing. Decorating is mostly done (inside and outside), some shopping is done, some celebration of the season is starting. Hope that Christmas is a happy season in your home.

We don't have snow in this part of the south west. People are puting lights on the cactus and their homes. I have a tree and some decorations up. All the gifts are wrapped and mailed out. All the goodies I baked for xmas, my hubby ate. So, I have to bake somemore. What about your home?

It's 60 degrees and wonderful outside LOL! It looks like NYC won't have a white Christmas this year, but I don't think anyone minds. I love snow, but I don't like the cold that comes with it. The streets around me aren't decorated at all.. I just moved and the place where I used to live had gorgeous decorations up. I want to go back there one evening and just walk around the old streets enjoying the lights.

Well, all the snow seems to have melted here. There are lots of houses in the nieghborhood with lights, but mine isn't one of them. I haven't started baking yet. I really should.

This is the only time of year that I miss snow. I have always thought that somehow Christmas and snow went hand in hand but people where I live have never seen a white Christmas, so they, of course, don't miss it and would think I was awfully strange if I told them that I miss a white Christmas. There are a few houses that have Christmas lights but most decorations are put inside or behind a security wall because people would steal them otherwise. I have lights and decorations outside that can be seen through the security wall.

Outside there is still a bit of snow outside on the ground, but we had more a couple weeks ago. lol Our decorations are up inside the house and a few people around our area have some lights on the outside. Last night I was wrapping some presents and getting the ones that need to be mailed ready first. So yes its most def. feeling/looking like Christmas around these woods.
