what would you do?

if you found out that a good friend or a family member confided a secret to you that they had done something illegal? if they begged you not to tell that they needed to talk to someone and that they trusted you.. would you go to the police?

It is according to te crime and if I could get in trouble for not reporting it. It if was a simple thing, probably not.
