PUZZLE FOR EVERYONE !!!! from the movie -The MATRIX Trilogoy

so here is the puzzle . father of matrix says that neo has two paths to follow.one is to go to the left and choose 23 ppl (16 women, 7 men)who would rebuild the zion and matrix would restart again. second path was to go back to the place where he came from and insure the destrction of zion. he then says that this is the 6 th version of matrix and each time they have become increasingly efficient in destroying zion. !!! now on the basis of this i ask u the first question --- the story is supposed to be happening in 2199(as said in the 1 st movie by morpheus). so does that mean that in a time gap of 200 yrs 6 generations of zion have existed or does he mean something else by those words??? if so what is it that he means by saying that he has destroyed zion 6 times ??? if anyone can solve it plz post here
