Do You Think You Have Seen A UFO?

Do you think you may have seen a UFO? I'm not sure if I have seen one or not! A few years back I was walking the dog on a very clear night at a quite lonely spot. In front of me, in the sky, I suddenly saw an orange globe. This headed straight towards me, but very high up. My dog was frightened and leaned against my leg as we continued walking. The globe seemed to stop and hover (still high in the sky) over my head and then suddenly it shot off to the right in a different direction and disappeared. Was it a UFO, imagination, some other fling thing? I've no idea. What about you: Do you think you've seen a UFO?

Do I think I have seen a UFO? I actaully do. It was back in 1997, myself and a friend of mine were walking her dog every night. One night we were walking we both saw this white clear light on the sky, that was actually moving. We both think it was to big to be a star, we are sure it was not an airplane, because they look different. Then what was it?

It could have been a satellite. They can easily be seen and look like moving stars. They move in a straight line.

There are a lot of unexplained occurances in this world, however I am not convinced there are any UFO's surely by now there would be some kind of proof. I often wonder though whether we are just part of some big experiment.. e.g what will people do for pieces of paper with numbers stamped on them?

A big experiment ... that could be right! If you really think about life and the vastness of space (can it really go on for ever?) we are absolutely pointless!

I have never seen it but I am very interested in it. I watch lots of TV shows about UFO stuff and there are acutally a lot of pilots who have seen something not even close to airplane etc so I think there would be something that would be called UFO.

I'm pretty sure there are UFO's but whether they come from another planet or dimension is a completely different matter. They could be all sorts of things in reality.

i used to watch that one show unsolved mysteries late late at night, it would always freak me out. i was a lot younger yes. I havent ever 'seen' one or thought i did, but its very possible in my mind that there is something or someone else out there :)

'Someone out there' - now that's a thought. But it's strange there hasn't been any proveable evidence other than a lot of things that have been supposedly hushed up by governments. When you think how many planets there are - surely some must have life just by a law of averages.

As I've heard many times before, how big is our ego to believe we are the only intelligent creatures in the universe. I watch the sky with my telescope from Philadelphia,Pa. in the city and even with all the light interference I've seen some interesting things flying by. I've seen some questionable things as a child back in the sixties just standing on my front porch. I think most people don't realize that when they see something and think, what the heck was that, that they probably just saw a U.F.O. I noticed most people in the city never look up, ever! I walk through my neighborhood and see beautiful Hawks sitting at the top of telephone polls and on buildings and no one ever looks up! it's amazing. When people see me looking up they look alarmed like "Oh,no, what's going on? Most people just aren't looking!

Yes, you are quite right many people don't look at the sky. It's especially interesting on a dark clear night when lots of the stars can be seen. There's a lot of strange things about ...

When I was younger, I was out in the woods by out summer house and I saw something green bouncing around in the sky. I went to get my dad, who didn't believe me at all, and we went back to the spot. Together, we watched the orb move back and forth for over half an hour. It even changed colors once, going from green to a light pink and then back to green. And, to this day, my dad still says it was a plane. No way.
