What do you do with your change?

I put mine in a jar. I can't stand carrying around change. I don't ever take the time to count it out when paying for something so it's better if I put it in the jar and then we cash it out every couple months at a Coinstar.

Whatever changes I get and my wife, we put it in a box and once a week we give it to local store, who always requests for coins. We keep some coins for our day to day use.

A store asks for coins? Do they give you bills for it or do you just give it to them?

Yeah we always say ours is for the baby but we end up cashing it in. She's too young to cash it in herself. :)

I use it at the stores whenever they ask for change I give it to them. I also give pennies to my daughter for in her piggy bank. Sometimes I'll even ask for a roll of change from the bank because I use it at the library to make photo copies of material that I use for homeschooling. So, change is never thrown in a jar around here LOL

I put mine in my pickle jar. It was suppose to be for Christmas but people (kids) keep dipping. Lol. Like I'm not going to notice that the amount is going up.
