Do you think that we should always respect our elders?

My older sister does not treat me with any respect lately. Do I have the right to defend myself. I think that I do have that right.

I don't think defending yourself necessarily shows a lack of respect for someone. I think we should treat everyone with respect but you should also respect yourself and stand up for yourself.

yes we should, i know even now that i have kids in school and there are still teachers and people there that were there when i was in school, and i really feel funny calling them by thier first names. i think that everyone should respect thier elders.

yes, we have to respect olders, but I would not include brothers and sisters...
